Full Time Food Packaging Lead:
Monday- Friday 6:30 am- 4:00 pm
The duties required of packaging lead to include:
- leading a team to success and teaching
- loading materials and products into package-processing equipment, measuring, weighing and counting product materials,
- moving or lifting heavy objects, loading, unloading or stacking products or materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- partaking in full wash down at the days end.
- Working in a 4 degree Celsius or less environment
-Fast learning + quick worker
You will also be responsible for sorting manufacturing materials or products, operating packaging machine equipment, recording product, packaging and order information on forms and records.

Wagener's Meat apprentice program is an opportunity where you will learn the fundamentals of becoming a professional butcher. Our production facility in Toronto is where we produce all of our products. We provide a 3 month apprentice/training program where you will gain hands on knowledge to become a professional butcher/sausage maker. Our production facility is fully equipped to teach you the skill sets and knowledge for the meat industry. Our facility is continuing to expand and we are looking for butchers/ sausage makers.
Part of your apprentice program will include processing meat products for the food manufacturing, catering and food retail industries.
If you want a practical job, enjoy being part of a team and can follow safety instructions this might be the job for you. You'll need to understand the importance of food hygiene.
